Logan County Deputy Suffers Heart Attack While On Duty

A Logan County Sheriff's deputy has been transported to the hospital after suffering a heart attack while he was on duty late Thursday night.

According to the Sheriff's office, at about 11:30 p.m. Deputy Jason Wright was driving down Division Road in Guthrie when he had a heart attack. Another deputy was in the patrol car with him. That deputy was able to stop the car safely.

Deputy Wright was flown to the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, where he is now in a medically-induced coma.
