Police: Woman Found Stabbed To Death Inside Shawnee Home

A woman was found dead Saturday night inside her Shawnee home, police said.

Police were called about 9 p.m. Saturday to a home in the 1200 block of East Main Street. The deceased woman, identified as 91-year-old Florence Fife, was found stabbed to death, according to police.  

Police said the home was ransacked but it is unclear if anything was taken from the home.

Shawnee police said they are investigating the death as a homicide.
