Manhunt Suspect Has Lengthy Criminal History

Michael D. Vance, Jr. is no stranger to the law.

According to court records, Vance was charged just a few months ago in a child sexual abuse case out of Chandler. Vance only recently got out of the Lincoln County Detention Center. The Lincoln County Sheriff indicated that case could be a possible motive in Sunday's crime spree.

Records indicate Vance was convicted for an assault in Lincoln County in 1999. He has also been named in several protective orders over the years.

Vance has also been convicted for writing bogus checks and drug possession.
