A bank robbery was reported Monday afternoon in Norman, police said.
The robbery happened shortly before 4:20 p.m. at BancFirst, 333 12th Ave SE, the FBI reported.
A man entered the bank and presented a note demanding money from the teller. The note indicated that the man had a gun but no gun was seen.
The teller gave the robber money and he walked away in an unknown direction, the FBI said.
The robber was described as a white male, in his late 20's to early 30's, about 5 feet, 9 inches to 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing about 200 to 215 pounds with short brown hair, a mustache and a beard.
Anyone with information about the bank robbery is asked to call the FBI at (405) 290-7770. Callers may remain anonymous and the Oklahoma Bankers Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for robbing a member bank.
