Oklahoma Co. GOP Asks Sheriff Whetsel To Suspend Himself Pending Audit

The Oklahoma County GOP chairman is asking Oklahoma County Sheriff John Whetsel to immediately suspend himself pending the outcome of an investigative audit into the sheriff’s office.

The chairman also says that if Whetsel does not suspend himself then he will ask the Oklahoma County Board of County Commissioners to start the process to have him suspended.
