An Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputy was arrested after being accused of rape.
According to Oklahoma City police, just before 10 a.m Saturday, an officer responded to the incident in the 700 block of Colcord Drive. A woman in her mid-20’s reported to police that she had been raped and an Oklahoma County deputy was involved.
The suspect, 30-year-old Eutt Sharp, has been arrested on a first-degree rape complaint. A spokesperson for Oklahoma County Sheriff’s office confirmed with News 9 that Sharp is one of the department’s School Recourse Officer Deputies.
Sharp was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail. He has been released after posting a $25,000 bond.
"Immediately after learning of Sharp’s confession and subsequent arrest, I terminated his employment," said Sheriff John Whetsel. "We have zero tolerance for anyone who betrays the trust of our citizens. He wore a badge and I am extremely upset and disappointed in his conduct.”
Sharp was hired as a detention officer at the jail on February 18, 2014. He became a deputy sheriff on June 12, 2014, according to the Sheriff's office.
