Police: Impatient Driver Hits Pedestrian In Downtown OKC

Police say an impatient driver hit a pedestrian outside a Bricktown nightclub overnight.

According to police around 2:00 a.m., the driver of a pickup truck gunned his engine and hit a woman because he was tired of waiting on a crowd of people in the parking lot near Sheridan and Mickey Mantle.

Police said the driver ran over the woman’s foot with his front tire and when she fell, the back tire ran over her shoulder.

The woman was taken to a local hospital in an unknown condition.

Police said the driver tried to leave the scene, but was quickly stopped by officers who witnessed the accident. They believe alcohol was also a factor in the accident.
