A neighborhood known for its festive holiday spirit is reeling from vandals who are in their midst.
Late Saturday or early Sunday, vandals repeatedly slashed an inflated dinosaur in front of one woman’s home in Blue Stem housing addition in northwest Oklahoma City.
The suspects also damaged Christmas decorations in front of Jeff Bowman’s home, as well as Stevie and Tom Taylor’s home.
“I just think they’re ornery,” said Stevie Taylor. “What should happen? Yeah, they should be corrected by their parents. We’re all a product of our parents.”
Stevie Taylor said the vandals also tried to steal her OU snowman and OU Santa Claus from the front of their home.
“It wasn’t funny. It’s not funny. They stole one of my reindeer, and they broke one of my angels,” she said.
Police told News 9 they are aware of what happened.
