One Dead In Fiery Crash Involving Semis Near Purcell

One person is dead following a fiery crash involving three semis on the northbound side of Interstate 35, just north of Purcell, Wednesday afternoon.

All lanes of the interstate were shut down. Traffic was been rerouted at mile marker 95, which turns into N. Green Ave. OHP tells News 9 the highway was re-opened just before 5 p.m.

A medical helicopter was requested and transported another victim to a local hospital. That person's condition is not known at this time.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
