Driver Stranded On Washed Out Road North Of Edmond Rescued

First responders were called in to rescue the driver of a pickup, stranded on a bridge and surrounded by floodwater north of Edmond, Friday afternoon.

Edmond fire & rescue crews were called out to check out the stranded pickup in the area of S. Santa Fe Ave. and W. Simpson Rd.

Rescuers were able to reach the driver via a dinghy, and safely transported the man back to safety.
