Luther HS Stabbing Victim ‘Stable’ At OU Medical Center

A 14-year-old freshman girl from Luther High School is recovering at OU Medical Center after being stabbed several times.

Authorities said she is “stable", but her condition is unknown.

She and the 14-year-old male suspect were entering their freshman year Thursday.

The victim was said to be enjoying her first day of at an assembly, when the suspect stabbed her at least 11 times, according to Luther Police.

News 9 was on scene as she was med-flighted to OU Medical Center. The Luther High School staff was able to keep pressure on the wounds which helped slow down the blood loss.

Right now, the suspect is being questioned by Luther Police.
