Beer distributors are now warning stores to get moving on their applications to sell strong beer and wine.
There are 40 days left before major liquors laws go into effect in Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Beer Alliance says roughly 500 of their clients, which sold 3.2 beer, still haven't applied for a new license to sell strong beer.
“I think a lot of the mom and pops’ aren’t aware of this process and how long it’s going to take, and it could take six weeks of longer to get his licenses,” said Lisette Barnes, President of the Oklahoma Beer Alliance.
The Oklahoma Beer Alliance is reminding its clients this week to begin the application process.
The new laws go into effect October 1.
The ABLE Commission says so far this August, they’ve received 500 applications. That’s the most since April, when 800 were received by ABLE.
