Oklahoma voters are two months away from voting for a new governor and other state officers.

In our exclusive News 9 poll, we asked voters what they thought about the state questions and all the statewide races.

For attorney general, incumbent Mike Hunter is facing Democratic challenger Mark Myles.

Hunter barely edged out Gentner Drummond in the runoff last month to earn a spot on the November ballot, while Democratic challenger Mark Myles is a political newcomer who's been practicing law since 2008.

According to our poll, Hunter has a substantial lead at this point in the race with 52 percent of likely voters saying they would vote for him, 34 percent saying they favor Myles, and about 14 percent undecided. The poll has a margin of error of just under 5 percent.

Our pollster Bill Shapard said, as bruising as the runoff election campaign was, Hunter definitely benefited from it, in terms of increasing his name recognition. But he said there's still plenty of time, and Hunter doesn't yet have it in the bag

"He's getting about 11 points, net crossover vote from Democrats, which is a positive sign, but he's losing among moderates by 20 points, so that could hurt him as we get closer to November," Shapard said.

It's certainly possible that Myles will benefit on Election Day from races higher up on the ticket, including the governor's race, Shapard said.

Below are the results from the poll:
