Family's Desperate Plea: I Want Justice For My Brother

The FBI and Bureau of Indian Affairs continues to search for the person who stabbed two people back on September 12th in Carnegie.

A female victim did survive, but investigators say a male victim named Byron Tongkeamah, Jr. did not.

Both victims were found in an abandon home with multiple stab wounds.

Neighbors say the couple had been squatting at the property for an undetermined amount of time.

The Bureau of Indian Affairs is now offering up to a $2,500 reward for information that leads to successful prosecution of Tongkeamah’s killer.

Family says they are desperate for answers in the case.

“I want justice for my brother,” said Michaela Yeahquo, Byron’s sister. “If you know anything…please...all I am asking is, come forward.”

Yeahquo said Byron was a father to two children.

At this point, there have been no arrests made in the course of the investigation.

As for the female victim, the FBI reports that she will recover from her injuries. Agents chose not to release her name, citing privacy concerns.

Those with information are asked to call the BIA or FBI with information on the case.

News 9 has requested the Medical Examiner’s report regarding Tongkeamah, Jr’s death. However, that information is not yet available.
