An anonymous donor came forward this month offering $50,000 for video of the torture and murder of 19-year-old Carina Saunders. On Sunday, her family and friends met to make sure the community knows about it.
“We're gonna hit every avenue, every alley, every angle we can to get this word out,” said Richard Saunders, Carina Saunders’ father.

Dozens of volunteers met in downtown Oklahoma City on Sunday afternoon, all with one goal.
“To try and get these people off the streets, that's big deal,” said Sara Saunders, Carina Saunders’ sister.
And they also want answers surrounding the murder. Saunders' dismembered body was found in a duffel bag in 2011.
“You're talking to a father who has had to deal with the fact that my daughter's been missing for seven years and I have no evidence or no proof of what's going on,” said Richard.
Investigators believe Saunders was kidnapped and taken to an abandoned house in Bethany where she was tortured to death. Numerous people have told investigators that her murder was captured on video.
“This video would have inconclusive proof and we could close this if we could get somebody to bring this forward,” he said.
The family hopes the $50,000 reward by an anonymous donor prompts someone to turn over the video. More than 30 volunteers joined Saunders’ family to saturate the metro with flyers about the reward, to prompt anyone with the video or information about the crime to come forward.
“We decided to hit the areas where Carina was seen in most, like where she hung out most and also where we know there's known crime, known drug actions there because those are the areas, those are the people that are going to have information that we need,” said Sara.
Despite several suspects, Saunders' killer or killers have never been caught.
“We're trying to get their attention to maybe somebody would wake up and say, 'hey I can start over with 50,000 dollars,’ but we gotta have the right person step up,” Richard said.
The deadline to come forward with the video for the reward is October 31. The donor, who lives in another state, said after the video is received and verified as authentic, he will pay the $50,000 and forward it to OSBI. His e-mail address is dontbeacoward13@yahoo.com.
