An investigation is underway into the cause of a semi fire Tuesday evening on the Will Rogers Turnpike.

A semi was seen burning by the side of the road on Tuesday around 6 pm. Firefighters say the driver was able to escape the vehicle and is okay. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
