WB I-40 Reopens After Fatality Crash Shuts Down Interstate In Canadian Co.

A fatality crash shut down the westbound lanes of Interstate 40 for most of the afternoon Tuesday in Canadian County, troopers said.

The wreck happened near the Fort Reno exit, mile marker 119, and the roadway was shut down shortly after noon.

Traffic was being diverted off at the Country Club Road exit.

The interstate reopened shortly before 3:15 p.m.

Troopers have not identified who were involved in the crash.
