Semi-Truck Trailer Catches Fire On Turner Turnpike

A semi trailer caught fire late Sunday night on the Turner Turnpike near the Hiwassee exit.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers shut down the eastbound lanes of the turnpike until just after midnight, as crews worked to put out the fire.

Troopers say the trailer was damaged, but the driver was not hurt.
