5-Year-Old Dies In Apparent Accidental Shooting

A 5-year-old has died after what was reportedly an accidental shooting Friday afternoon outside a store in Sayre, authorities confirmed to News 9.

In a news story first published by radio station 96.5 KECO, the shooting happened inside a parked vehicle outside a store in the 100 block of West Main Street.

The Elk City police chief confirmed to News 9 that the child was taken to an area hospital, where he later died.
