Explosion Near Okarche Injures 2, Investigation Underway

An explosion west of Okarche injured two people Monday afternoon.

It happened four miles west of Okarche on NW 248th and Bradley Road.

One of the victims was medflighted from the scene.

According to Devon Energy, the fire was from the explosion was put out at 3:30 p.m.

The cause of the explosion is under investigation, Devon Energy reported.
