22-Year-Old Shot In SW Oklahoma City; No Arrests Made

A 22-year-old was shot Wednesday morning in southwest Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City Police responded to the scene of a shots fired call near Southwest 89th Street and Southwestern Avenue.

An individual on scene claimed that he noticed several young men messing with a pickup truck in the apartment's parking lot.

Police said the individual fired a gun at the young men before they fled the scene.

Around 30 minutes later, police responded to the scene near Southwest 74th Street and South May Avenue after a victim claimed they were shot while walking home from 7 Eleven.

Police said that the victim's story didn't make sense, and police were notified of the shots fired call that happened earlier.

Officers learned that the victim had left the 7 Eleven near the area of the original shots fired call.

The 22-year-old victim was transported to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made in connection to these incidents.
