Good morning! It has been a crisp and chilly start to the day, but the sunrise was something to behold!

The sky is clear, the colors are stunning, and you might even want to grab those sunglasses as the sun climbs higher — it’s going to be a bright one today. The chill in the air might make you want to bundle up, but don’t let that fool you — the sunshine is working its magic, and today is shaping up to be another beautiful November day.

We’ve been dealing with cold starts and cool afternoons for the past few mornings, and today will be no exception. Expect clear skies, quiet conditions, and temperatures that will remain cool. If you're heading out early this morning, you’ll definitely want to keep that jacket on and maybe even turn on the seat heater.

What is the weather like in Oklahoma on Friday?

Friday is still seasonally cool, but we continue to warm into this weekend.

Temperatures are starting in the 30s this morning. But don't let that get you down! The sun is doing its thing, and by mid-day, temperatures will climb into the 50s and 60s.

It's the perfect day to get outside, especially if you're planning to start decorating for the holidays or just enjoying the crisp air.

The winds are light today, so there’s no need to worry too much about wind chills.

By evening, you’ll want to keep a jacket handy — temperatures will drop again into the 30s and 40s, so make sure you’re prepared for the cool evening air if you’ve got plans.

What is the weather like in Oklahoma this weekend?

It will be sunny and dry through the weekend!

The weather looks wonderful for the next few days, with temperatures climbing into the 60s and even close to 70°F by the weekend.

Saturday and Sunday will be especially mild, with light winds and sunshine.

However, be aware that winds could pick up over the weekend, especially on Sunday, so keep that in mind if you have outdoor plans.

Stillwater:

For those heading to Stillwater for the big OSU vs. Texas Tech game, you’re in for a treat. With a 2:30 p.m. kickoff at Boone Pickens Stadium, expect clear skies and temperatures in the mid-60s—ideal for a November football game. It’s going to be a bit breezy, with south winds gusting to 20-25 mph, but it won’t be a dealbreaker. The winds will help keep things from feeling too chilly, and overall, it will be a beautiful day for the Cowboys to defend home turf.

Norman:

For the Sooner faithful, Saturday night will feature a showdown between OU and Alabama, with kickoff at 6:30 p.m. in Norman. While the day starts off warm with temperatures in the 60s for tailgating, once the sun sets, it will cool off quickly. Thanks to breezy south winds, temperatures will only dip into the mid-50s, which will make for comfortable evening conditions as long as you have a jacket. Whether you’re tailgating or watching the game from the stands, it looks like it’ll be a great atmosphere for a thrilling matchup.

On Sunday, we're looking at another gorgeous day, with highs climbing to around 71°F. It’s going to be sunny with light south winds, making for an excellent day to get outside and enjoy the weather. Whether you're spending time with family or enjoying the outdoors, it’s going to feel like a perfect fall day.

Thanksgiving:

Right now, it looks like we’re in for some chilly but not freezing weather for Thanksgiving.

Highs will be in the low 50s, and there’s a slight chance of rain showers in the morning, with a few snow flurries possible along the Oklahoma-Kansas border.

It’s still early, so keep an eye on the forecast as we get closer to Turkey Day.
