On Sunday, another round of severe weather impacted western Oklahoma and the OKC metro.
Memorial Day weekend looks nice, but there could be some severe weather between now and then.
Please stay weather-aware these next several days.
The heat returns Tuesday afternoon with a breezy south wind. It will be hot and muggy with highs in the 90s.
There is a chance of severe storms Tuesday evening that could produce damaging wind, large hail, and tornadoes.
A dryline will move in this afternoon and east of it, severe storms could develop. This includes large hail, damaging winds, and a tornado threat. The chance is highest in the NE portion of the state.
The chance for central Oklahoma is 20 percent. Most data keeps the metro dry.
What is the weather like for the rest of the week?
Rain will shift farther southeast through the day on Wednesday.
We are also still watching Thursday closely. What happens Tuesday will impact Thursday's pattern. At this point, severe storms are very possible on Thursday afternoon and evening, and these could pose a tornado threat.
