Excessive heat will be expected on Thursday, with highs in the upper 90s and low 100s for most Oklahomans.

Still around 16,000 customers without power this morning due to overnight storms Tuesday.

For most, they will reach the 90s,t with the worst conditions to the south and southwest.

It still feels like summertime with parts of southwest OK in an excessive heat warning.

There will be a chance for more storms later today in the west.

If these storms develop, they will move to the east and weaken. There is still a slight chance they will make the OKC metro. Storms today could produce damaging winds and large hail.
