'Keeps Getting Better And Better': News 9's Dusty Dvoracek On OSU's Alan Bowman Days Before Bedlam

To keep Trace Ford from blowing up the Cowboys backfield, it'll take good, quick decisions from Quarterback Alan Bowman.

Lucky for him he's behind a very impressive O-line on a very hot streak.

News 9 Sports’ Dusty Dvoracek previewed the quarterback’s impact on the game.

“He’s going to have some opportunities. Oklahoma knows its number one priority is stopping Ollie Gordon II. Alan Bowman just keeps getting better, and better. I love the quick release, he’s got a good feel in the pocket. When pressure’s around him, he lets go of the football [...] They’ve only given up one sack, in the last four games during this winning streak,” said Dvoracek.

Dvoracek says that Bowman has been untouchable the last few games.

“So can Oklahoma get to Bowman? No one has been able to the last four games. But I think for him, he’s got to be able to complete the passes to open targets,” Dvoracek said.

However, one impressive mistake from OSU’s Leon Johnson left fans wanting more. Dvoracek explains what The Cowboys need to do in order to get those needed touchdowns.

“I think Leon Johnson [...] creates matchup issues in some one-on-one situations. We saw that a week ago against Cincinnati. And Brendan Presley out in space… get him the football and let him go to work. [Presley] has had great timing and touch on a lot of his passes. And there’s going to be opportunities against the Sooners on Saturday,” said Dvoracek.
