Student Arrested After Bringing Gun To School, Midwest City High School Says

A Midwest City High School Student has been arrested after bringing a gun to school, according to Mid Del Schools.

The administrators acted on a tip that a weapon was on campus, and the SRO took the student into custody, the school says.

According to Mid Del Schools, the student will not be returning to school.

"This morning, a Midwest City High School student was arrested for possession of a loaded gun on campus. Administrators received a tip that a weapon was on campus and our SRO immediately responded and the student was taken into police custody. The student will not be returning to campus. We commend the swift actions taken by staff members to keep our students safe."
