Divers From Edmond Set To Make Full Recovery After Disappearance

After disappearing while scuba diving on Wednesday off the coast of Texas, family members of two Oklahomans say they have been found alive.

Friday two people were rescued after after they reportedly went missing on Wednesday during a scuba trip off the coast of Texas.

The U.S. Coast Guard said Nathan and Kim Maker from Edmond never resurfaced after unsuitable weather conditions threatened their dive about 15 miles offshore from Matagorda, Texas.

The couple was initially hospitalized after the incident. Nathan has since been released while Kim remains in the hospital she is expected to make a full recovery.

The pair is expected to return to Oklahoma in the coming days.
