EDMOND, Oklahoma - NEWS 9 won the sweepstakes award at the annual Oklahoma Associated Press Broadcasters contest.

The awards were presented Friday at a luncheon in Edmond.

NEWS 9 took nine first place awards in the 17 categories, including best sportscast, investigative reporting, best reporter and photographer portfolio.

News9.com also won first place as the best TV station Web site in the state.
