OKLAHOMA CITY -- A charity monitoring group has restored the rating of Oklahoma City-based Feed the Children.
Charity Navigator ripped Feed the Children of its perfect, four-star rating back in March. The charity is now once gain listed with a four-star rating.
"We didn't feel it was appropriate for them to ever pull the rating down, but we have cooperated with their process," said Tony Sellars, Feed the Children spokesman. "They have again certified we meet their criteria and have one of the highest ratings on their site of any charity in the nation"
Charity Navigator originally pulled Feed the Children's rating after allegations of mismanagement and concern over the legitimacy of its outreach.
As of Friday night, Charity Navigator's Web site still listed a "donor advisory" on Feed the Children's profile about the allegations of mismanagement.
