OKLAHOMA CITY -- Artists with four-legs, horns, scales and shells created some masterpieces Thursday at the Oklahoma City Zoo.
Zookeepers gave all kinds of animals some non-toxic paint and let them show their artistic side for a new exhibit called "Art Gone Wild."
The snakes and tortoises seemed to be natural painters, but other animals like the black rhino needed an edible incentive.
"She looks for blank parts of the canvas where she can fill in the paint because she knows she's gonna get a bigger food reward for doing that," said
The paintings by the animals will be on display at the "In Your Eye Studio and Gallery" in the Paseo Arts District.
The opening reception is Friday from 6p.m. to 10pm and runs through August 28. Proceeds will benefit the zoo's conservation program.
