OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahomans gathered Monday morning to pay tribute to those who served our country and paid the ultimate price.
The annual Memorial Day ceremony was held at the Air National Guard 45th Infantry Division Museum. The ceremony honored and celebrated Oklahoma's finest.
Both military and civilian groups were represented at the ceremony with color guards.
"It's very touching," said retired military personnel and museum volunteer Bob Henthorn. "It makes you stop and think of all the things you take for granted that a lot of people paid a terrific price for. A lot of people have died to give the benefits and freedoms that we enjoy today."
