OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Thunder announced Monday that vice president and general manager Sam Presti has extended a qualifying offer to Daequan Cook.
After Monday's move, the Thunder will now have the chance to match any contract offers Cook receives from other teams.
The fourth-year guard out of Ohio State became a restricted free agent at the end of the season, after finishing 11th in the NBA in 3-point shooting, making 65 of his 154 attempts last season.
The Thunder acquired Cook along with the 18th pick in the 2010 NBA Draft for the 32nd selection in the same draft.
