Charles Dyer, a 31-year-old ex-Marine from Duncan, was caught around 8 a.m. Thursday, August 25, about 30 miles southwest of Houston. Someone spotted a man matching his description walking in a neighborhood in Pecan Grove, Texas.

In his older mug shots, Dyer was bald and clean shaven. The man a Fort Bend County Sheriff's Deputy stopped and questioned on the street had close-cropped black hair and a beard.

After talking to the man for a few minutes, the deputy arrested him and took him to the Fort Bend County Jail. Authorities used a fingerprint check to confirm the man was Charles Dyer.
