Funeral Held For Pottawatomie County Deputy Killed In Accident

KONAWA, Oklahoma -- A Pottawatomie County deputy killed in a car accident is laid to rest.

The funeral for Deputy Tim Lowry was held Wednesday morning at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Konawa.

Deputy Mike Roberts was laid to rest Tuesday in St. Louis in Western Pottawatomie County.

The two men died last Friday when their patrol car collided with a semi near Asher.

Police say the sun may have been in the deputies' eyes when they crashed into the truck, which was making a U-turn.
