GLENPOOL, Oklahoma -- An Okmulgee woman is dead and her sister and brother are in a Tulsa hospital following a pickup truck crash late Sunday night in Glenpool.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol got the call shortly after 11 p.m.

Troopers say 33-year-old Pamela Checotah was driving westbound on 181st Street east of Lewis when she drove off the road then overcorrected, causing the pickup truck to strike a tree.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her sister, 26-year-old Daniell Ann Morgan, was taken to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition.  Her brother, 45-year-old Daniel Checotah, was not injured.

Troopers say excessive speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.  They say no one in the truck was wearing a seat belt.
