Officials To Tour Lincoln County Earthquake Damage Tuesday

Assessment teams from several agencies will tour earthquake-damaged areas in Lincoln County over the next two days.  They will assess the damage done to homes and businesses during Oklahoma's most powerful quake.

News 9 talked to Lincoln County Emergency Management Director Joey Wakefield Monday night. He said his office has mapped out every damage report called into his office. And as of Monday night, there are more than 400 locations on that map.

Wakefield's office will be joined by teams from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Small Business Association, and state emergency management for what's called a Primary Damage Assessment tour.

The three groups will head out of Prague in different directions at 10 a.m. Tuesday for the first of the two-day tour.

Wakefield urges anyone in Lincoln County who has not already called his office with a damage report to do so as soon as possible.
