A new quarter with an image of the Chickasaw National Recreation Area was unveiled Wednesday in Sulphur.

The coin is part of the U.S. Mint's America the Beautiful Quarters series. The design shows a view of Lincoln Bridge, a limestone structure that was dedicated in 1909 to mark what would have been the 100th birthday of President Abraham Lincoln. The front of the quarter features a portrait of George Washington.

The Chickasaw Quarter is the 10th release in the series and the final release of the year.
