Another Earthquake Recorded In Central Oklahoma Sunday Morning

A 3.2 magnitude earthquake was reported early Sunday morning in central Oklahoma. The earthquake was recorded at 6:52 a.m. about 22 miles southeast of Guthrie and 27 miles east-northeast of Oklahoma City.

It is the sixth trembler reported in the area since Thursday, when a 3.7 magnitude quake was detected near Prague. Three more were recorded Friday.

The U.S. Geological Survey said a 2.4 magnitude tremor was recorded at 6:55 a.m. Saturday about five miles south of Sparks in Lincoln County. The sheriff's office said it hadn't received any reports of damage.

A 5.6 magnitude quake, the strongest ever recorded in Oklahoma, shook the state November 5 and numerous aftershocks have occurred ever since.

The larger quake damaged at least 40 homes, buckled a highway and caused a tower at St. Gregory's University in Shawnee to collapse.
