Loan Reps In Prague Thursday To Help Earthquake Victims

The U.S. Small Business Administration is offering low-interest disaster loans to people who may have suffered damage in Oklahoma's record-breaking earthquake.

Nearly 200 homes and businesses suffered serious damage in the record-setting 5.6 magnitude quake shook central Oklahoma on November 5. The federal government denied Governor Mary Fallin's request for a disaster declaration. She then turned to the SBA for help.

Service representatives will be in Prague Thursday offering help at the Disaster Loan Outreach Center at City Hall.

The SBA offers low-interest disaster loans for renters, homeowners and business owners to repair or replace property that's not covered by insurance or other assistance programs.
