Pottawatomie County prosecutors revealed a former McLoud Elementary School teacher hid a video camera in her classroom and recorded video of naked students.
Kimberly Crain pleaded not guilty Thursday to 23 counts of manufacturing child pornography, conspiracy to manufacture child pornography, and lewd molestation.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Crain invited students to her house in November to eat pizza and decorate a Christmas tree. One of the girls at the party later told her mother Crain told them to dress in bras and panties. She said Crain then took pictures of them while they decorated the tree. The girl also said Crain videotaped them dancing. The girl's mother called police and Crain was arrested at her Shawnee home on December 1.
During the investigation, police discovered more than 100 photos of half-dressed and naked young girls on Crain's personal and work computers. They said she had hidden cameras throughout her classroom taking pictures of children. Police also found a video camera hidden in an area covered by a curtain, where the children were told to go undress.
Prosecutors say Crain shared the child pornography with a man her students knew as "Uncle G," but who's now been identified as Gary Doby, a former childhood development professor at Bloomsberg University of Pennsylvania. Investigators say Crain and Doby met in the mid 1980s when she was a student at Oklahoma Baptist University, and he was an associate professor.

Prosecutors said Crain had her students Skype with Doby during class time. Doby was arrested Thursday in Pennsylvania, and Pottawatomie County authorities are working to extradite him to Oklahoma.
Pottawatomie County District Attorney Richard Smotherman said they've identified 14 victims, but there are likely many more who have not come forward.
Crain is still being held in jail on $1 million bond. Her next court date is scheduled for January 10.
McLoud Public Schools issued the following statement:
With all the new details released today following the arraignment of former teacher Kimberly Crain, it is our hope that parents and the community now understand why the McLoud Board of Education was unable to discuss any information or answer any questions at last week's school board meeting.
As you now know, the Pottawatomie County District Attorney's office was in the midst of conducting an intense and in-depth investigation; therefore, we complied with its request to not release any information which would in any way jeopardize the investigation, and ultimately, an additional arrest. We will continue to fully cooperate with all law enforcement agencies throughout this process and our school counselors will remain readily available for any student or parent who needs to speak with them.
McLoud Public Schools would like to acknowledge the Pottawatomie County District Attorney's office for its due diligence in this matter.
