Man Arrested In Attack Of Oklahoma City High School Principal

Police arrest the man they say attacked the Douglass High School principal last year. Officers arrested Elijah Muhammed for assault and battery.

Investigators believe Muhammed is the man who hit principal Brian Staples in the leg in the school parking lot in March of 2010.

The day of the attack, Muhammed went on camera with News 9 and said Staples may have been attacked because of mounting racial tensions.

Muhammed's mother was an assistant principal at the school but was fired months after the attack for insubordination.
