Tulsa Fire Says Arson Is To Blame For House Fire Which Spread To Second Home

Tulsa Fire say an arson fire at a vacant home in the 6800 block of East 83rd Street caught of a second house on fire early Tuesday morning.

Tulsa Fire say an arson fire at a vacant home in the 6800 block of East 83rd Street caught of a second house on fire early Tuesday morning. 

Firefighters were sent to the homes shortly after 3 a.m.   A woman and her dogs were able to get out of the second home by the time firefighters arrived on scene. 

Tulsa Fire says the first home, which was for sale, was destroyed in the fire, while the second home sustained considerable damage to its upstairs area. 

Investigators say the fire started in the northeast corner of the first home.

Fire investigators says they are still digging into how the first fire started and it is not releasing any information on how it started or if they have any suspects at this time.

The Tulsa Fire Marshal is asking anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area the last few days, or have information about the fire, to call the Arson Hotline at 918-596-ARSN.
