Justin Adams Arraigned For Murders Of Wife, Unborn Child In Oklahoma County

An Oklahoma County judge ordered a Blanchard man accused of killing his pregnant wife held without bond during his video arraignment Monday.

Justin Adams was arrested Friday just moments after his wife was buried at Blanchard Cemetery. Prosecutors said he killed his wife, Jaymie Adams. Under Oklahoma law Justin can be charged with two counts of murder because Jaymie was pregnant when she was killed.

Jaymie Adams was last seen December 9, 2011. Her body was found on January 7 near a dirt bike trail at Lake Stanley Draper. In an arrest warrant, detectives said after Justin reported his wife missing, he repeatedly gave inconsistent statements to police.

New 9 also learned Jaymie reported her husband assaulted her one month before she disappeared.
