Third Suspect Sought In Shooting Death Of OKC Man

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office Warrant Team is searching for a third suspect in the murder of a 21-year-old man.

Donte DeShawn McCarther was shot and killed January 17 at an apartment complex in the 1400 block of N. Council Road. When police arrived, they found his body lying in a breezeway.

The sheriff's office has issued an arrest warrant for 36-year-old Alfonzo Dwight Hamilton, the third suspect in McCarther's death.

Police have already arrested Lawrence Bartlett and Brandon Dawson in the case.

Hamilton goes by the nickname "Smoke." In addition to murder, Hamilton is also wanted on several other unrelated warrants for driving under the influence and burglary.
