The ballpark in downtown Oklahoma City has had another name change in 24-hours time.
According to Mayor Mick Cornett, the ballpark will now be called the "Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark".
Officials with the Redhawks organization and the Chickasaw Nation first unveiled the name "Newcastle Field at Bricktown" on Wednesday afternoon. The newest name will go into effect at 5 p.m.
The RedHawks will open the 2012 Pacific Coast League season at the ballpark Thursday night.
It's the 15th season of baseball in Bricktown with the Redhawks taking on the Memphis Redbirds at 7:05 p.m. The game is expected to have a sellout crowd.
