My 2 Cents: Coach Bobby Petrino Fired

I know Arkansas Razorback fans are rabid about their football, maybe even more so than Oklahoma fans, but I'm a little surprised there's any kind of organized effort to keep their coach from being fired.

How much more do you have to do wrong in Fayetteville before everyone says, yeah he's probably not a good representative of our University.

I guess just one thing, lose games.

Coach Bobby Petrino crashes his motorcycle, then, road rash and all, holds a news conference a few days later saying he's ok.

But he left out an important part of the story. A few days later we learn his 25-year-old mistress was on there too, and then that he's hired her for his staff over 159 other applicants.

And tonight, we learn that he had given the young woman $20,000 before any of this ever happened.

Hats off to the AD at Arkansas who fired Petrino despite his 21-5 record over the past 2 seasons, and shame on any of those Razorback fans who still want Petrino to remain at Arkansas, his behavior has been disgraceful.
