Court papers show Avery Meyers, the 16-year-old suspect in Monday night's Bricktown shooting, has confessed to opening fire on a crowd of Thunder fans and wounding eight people.

Meanwhile, an Oklahoma County District Court Judge has signed an order of release for 19-year-old Rodney Hill, the first suspect arrested in the shooting.

On Tuesday, police arrested both Hill and Meyers on eight complaints of shooting with intent to kill.

Judge Cindy Truong ordered Hill released Wednesday "pending further investigation." Hill's attorney, Billy Bock, says his client will probably not immediately be released from jail. He says he'll likely be held for a few more days on traffic violations.

Bock says Hill is innocent and had nothing to do with the shooting. He says his client does know Meyers, but the two are acquaintances and not good friends.
