An Oklahoma man drowned at Lake Thunderbird Saturday afternoon.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a group of people were swimming at the lake near Zoom Beach when, around 3:30 p.m., they noticed one of their friends was missing. The group searched for the man for about an hour before they called OHP.
Roosevelt M. Livingston, 27, was last seen hanging onto a marker buoy.
Troopers brought in their Marine Enforcement officers, who located Livingston's body using sonar around 6:30 p.m.
Livingston was not wearing a life jacket, according to troopers.
