The death toll of service men and woman has been high over the past twelve months in Oklahoma. The 45th Infantry Brigade has lost 14 military personnel in the past year.
It's a large number when you consider The 45th Infantry Brigade has lost 19 total since 9/11.

Monday's special Memorial Day service at the 45th Infantry Division Museum had added meaning. The families of all 14 fallen service members were invited.
"Every one of those is a personal loss to families and loved ones in Oklahoma," says Col. Joel Ward of the 45th Infantry Brigade.
The Col. Ward also wants to remind people of the sacrifice made by the 370 members of "the 45th" wounded while fighting for our country.
