The next stop on Fat n' Sassy Momma's Best Summer Ever Dining on Route 66 Tour takes us to Catoosa, Oklahoma. She stops in at an obscure place called Molly's Landing.
Molly's Landing is in a log cabin that opened in 1984 after seven months of construction. Since the opening they have added an additional two rooms; one overlooking the river, and the other on the west wall with a courtyard adjoining for outdoor dining.
The grounds have a Hawaiian-style pit for large cookouts; also a man-size chess board for your outdoor fun and enjoyment.
The owners are originally from Arizona. They brought a lot of treasures with them to decorate the restaurant. Since then, some of the customers have contributed their treasures to the collection, as well.
Molly's serves all types of meat: red, white, seafood and game. The restaurant also serves a vegetarian dish. The menu prices range from $13 to $40, so there is something for everyone's taste buds as well as their pocketbook.
Tune in Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. for more information on the Route 66 treasure or visit the Molly's Landing Website.
